Co-Founder and President of
Fola Babalola is a dad, Co-founder and President of Greenplum Educational and Career Services. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Sciences from Towson University, Baltimore, and MSc in Telecommunication Information System from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
He is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Youth Leadership Mentorship.
Fola is deeply interested in children at every stage of their academics and loves to help them acquire the right set of skills and mindset required for their chosen careers.
As a parent, his passion for kids to have a better academic plan during their K-12 schooling started with his own children. As a result, he has been able to come up with a more focused option for parents with a similar desire. For almost a decade, he has helped over a 100 children and families with educational interventions that have resolved their educational problems.
Nahum Heritage Foundation
In 2014, He established the Nahum Heritage Foundation, a non-profit that creates opportunities for youths to develop skills and gain the experience they need to lead in the 21st century. Part of the foundation’s programs is focused on Education & Leadership, as well as Career & Job Readiness. So far, they have helped 250+ youths get quality education and develop leadership skills; a lot of them have proceeded to build successful careers.
His experiences with the Nahum Heritage Foundation qualifies him to oversee service offerings and works with other youth educational organizations and school districts in the Greater Washington area to design integrated approaches to youth mentoring and academics which he does through GECS. Over the years, he has also been responsible for driving the brand growth of GECS, maximizing operational excellence, and delivering outstanding Leadership and educational programs. He is also the CEO of Xignette in Largo, Maryland, and is responsible for data management research for education and medical institutions.
