Consultation Service

Designed for parents who want to plan ahead for their children, need general information about schools, or what to discuss special circumstances before planning can begin. In this single session, we discuss realistic expectations and provide objective information. For the parents of very young children, we discuss ways to identify appropriate programs and begin a long-term education plan.

The consultation service is $250.00. Extra support is available on a discounted hourly basis at a rate of $50.00/hr.

Advisory Service

This service consists of a visit that includes meeting with the student and immediately thereafter with parents. Younger children may go home after their meeting and older students may join us for a family meeting after the parent session. We review student records, including academic history, testing, talents, skills, and interests. Student may be assessment academically in reading, mathematic and language arts. After this informal assessment and thoughtful consideration, we discuss options, make specific recommendations, provide information on the appropriate schools, and explain the admission process. On occasion, we may referral to other professionals. This service includes a follow-up conversation to review the application process (prior to receiving admission decisions).

The consultation service is $350.00. Extra support is available on a discounted hourly basis at a rate of $75.00/hr.

Comprehensive Service

The Full Consultation Program is for families who are either at the beginning of their school search or are in a school situation that requires immediate attention and assistance. The student and parents will meet with the consultant to discuss all of the aspects involved when pursuing a successful school placement for the child. After careful review of the child’s academic records, testing, teacher evaluations, and other relevant information, the parents will be given a list of potential schools that match their child’s educational needs. Although the parents and student tour the schools on their own, the consultant will join them in discussions on which schools they would like to pursue. During the application process, the consultant will be available to talk about any concerns that arise. The consultant will also been in contact with the admissions directors about the child and answer any questions. Once families are notified of the schools’ decisions, the parents, student and consultant will re-convene to discuss final school choices.

  • Consult with or refer to other professionals as needed
  • Coordinate the admissions process:
    • Monitor deadlines, proofread essays, prepare students for interviews. The consultant will submit transcripts, testing, and recommendations to schools. The family is responsible for actual application and essay writing.

  • Answer questions that arise and communicate with parents and students in an ongoing relationship
  • Communicate with the schools on the student’s behalf
  • Review and discuss choices
  • Serve as a resource for two months after enrolment.

 

The consultation service is $350.00. Extra support is available on a discounted hourly basis of a rate of $75.00/hr. Hourly rates available at $100/hr., 3-hour retainer required. Sibling Discount of 20%

International Student Admission
and Advisory Service

This service helps international student streamline and simplify international student admissions processes. We can help student retrieve academic documents, as long as we can be checked for validity and accuracy. We can work with well known international credential company to offer an analysis of an individual’s degrees and transcripts and provide U.S. equivalents for each credential in a clear and consistent manner. We work with International Credential to provide authenticated academic transcripts along with a US equivalent evaluation report. Service that falls into these categories of College/undergraduate admission, graduate and post-graduate admission, day and boarding high school admission, prep school admission, professional licensing/certification, and independent school admission.

The consultation service is $350.00. Extra support is available on a discounted hourly basis of a rate of $75.00/hr., a 3-hour retainer required. Students or families will be responsible for any payment that is needed from any agency.

Review of Options

Review for Options is for clients’ needs advice about their school choice after the acceptance, wait-list, or denial letter received. This service includes reviewing records and admission letters, a meeting with the child, and a meeting with the parents to discuss the best fit of schools were admitted.
